CLOSING NOTICE

After almost 3 years of dedicating our time to The Apple Crate Tea Room we have decided to close our doors. This decision is both a personal and business decision. With 2 young children spending more and more time alone because Mom and Dad are constantly at work, we feel our time and effort in life is more necessary with our most precious part of life - especially as they enter the vulnerable teenage years. From a business perspective we have been pleased to offer the welcoming environment everyone has grown to love with the "from scratch" food that continues to receive rave reviews from far and wide. Unfortunately, offering these things in this economy is an expensive thing to do. In order to ensure these high costs can be covered we both have to have extra full time jobs on top of running the tea room… this is not a family friendly option for us.

We will miss the smiling faces from our customers and never find a business more satisfying. However, we cannot sacrifice our family for this anymore.

We will have some sale days in April to sell things from within the tea room but our final day open as a tea room will be March 31, 2010.

Thank you for your support to date and we hope to see everyone as much as possible between now and our final day.
